Pros

3 days off a week, they buy you the tools you need, you get to wear shorts. I have worked at worst places.

Cons

Let me first say that I am thankful that I have a job. Now the facts. I've been there about 3 years. Almost every little perk that they have ever given they take away. Everything from working out of your house they used to give you around 50.00 a month, they took it away and said they used the money to give you a 1st generation iPad mini to use. They used to give you a uniform allowance of 200- a year to buy uniforms, they took that away. Christmas bonus has been replaced with a large box with a bent picture of corporate employees spelling the word joy, a handful of broken mini candy canes and a dollar store mini flashlight. When your manager would ride along with you they would take you out to lunch, now they say that it is frivolous and a waste of money. If you work at corporate they throw parties, with imagine dragons, bbqs, trips, prizes and free lunches. If you are a field service service rep they tend to take you for granted and only really care about the higher ups numbers and bonuses. If people do really good during contests and promotions they take away store credits or something similar to make up for it. They also hire people in for more money with less money than you and make you train them. Almost all the fun benefits and perks that made me want to work there in the first place are gone. It is actually really sad how they treat the employees that have made them successful over the years. They also don't stock you with enough equipment to properly do your job. You are constantly using your days off to plan and get equipment from other technicians just so you can take care of your customers.

Pros

It was really neat knowing that you were working at your own pace. You didn't have anyone breathing down your neck or anything like that. It felt very relaxed and casual, not like a strict corporate job.

Cons

It was difficult to get people to set up appointments with you. I feel like it was always very awkward and people only listened to me just to help me out with "training, but no one actually ever purchase the service. Difficult to make money

Pros

They would give you meal tickets that you could use as currency at select restaurants. There is a lot of room for promoting purposes but only if you work hard at it.

Cons

The management is horrible, trying to get time off...I don’t think they know what that is. You have to work at least one day of the weekend and at least 4 days of the week. Supervisors are constantly switching out so you never know who to go to for help or questions or training. The systems they use are HORRIBLE when troubleshooting and it doesn’t please the customers one bit. The Vivint product alone is always broken and always sucks.
