Not the exceptional culture it once was

Pros

excellent PTO and other benefits. Health bens cost is better than comparable plans at other mid-size companies. Great maternity and paternity leaves. Mostly great folks to work alongside.

Cons

While the benefits are great the pay is far below what it should be. As another reviewer said, the harder and better I work the more is thrown at me with no promotion or meaningful pay increase. Culture is what first made me love the company and that special feeling is gone. I'm sure some of the negatives are due to what's happening across the board with OB3 and so on. Policies from C Suite and messages are tone deaf and insensitive. "It is what it is" type of answers are not helpful but essentially what I hear.

Used to be great, now just another corp

Pros

Standard full benefit package, with decent entry level PTOs. Managers and below are generally really good people.

Cons

401K match has gone down. Insurance costs have skyrocketed while coverage has all but disappeared. It used to feel more special, above average, not only with their benefits, but how senior management interacted with and treated their people. They have become exceedingly corporate and cutthroat. If you are a manager or below, you are always on the chopping block. No one likes walking on eggshells. The absolute worst part is work/life balance. Instead of focusing on delivery, they focus on butts in chairs - I'm assuming to justify the cost of rent? People come to their desks and attend conference calls all day. Old fashioned values. They add a small arcade of crappy games and think they're innovative and progressive.

Pros

Great PTO and 401k Match.

Cons

No intention to make employees remote unless for health reasons. Most folks that were hired on as remote are now required to come to the office or must find other opportunities elsewhere.
