I took this job based on the awards of this being a great company to work. This is misleading. I have not been here long, but the people I interact with are incredibly unhappy. I don't know if the company paid for those awards or if the employees are so scared to lose fat paychecks & bonuses for doing literally nothing that they are lying on the surveys. Who knows. A core compentency if "Be accountable." I have not met a single person that takes this seriously and too often it is smoothed over or not addressed. Too often I see employees behaving and making decisions that are disconnected from what we should be doing here. Emphasis is on feelings and how we work and no one actually DOES any work. It is strange. Executive and senior leaders turn a blind eye and I question if they actually care or know what is going on at this company. I probably should not have left my left employer.... maybe I can still get my old job back.

Thinking about applying for Vizient? If you love the inconsistent application of employee policies across the company, this is certainly the place to be. If you love managers who completely lack empathy and embrace hypocrisy in words and actions, this is THE place to be. If you love a company that is constantly changing directions and then blaming employees for failing to arrive at the destination, THIS is the place to be! Keep walking and ignore any claimed accolades you may see on their website ("Best Company...") as it's total BS. Keep walking if you have a family and you're expecting flexibility to allow for more work/life balance, and ESPECIALLY keep walking if you have children with special needs as they do NOT care one iota about your life and its complexities.
