Great company but constant changes

Pros

Great WFH policies especially during pandemic; good benefits; meaningful work; high profile clients; nice and caring co-workers; good reputation

Cons

Senior leadership seems to love changing visions and directions (once every few weeks, there is at least one huge shift). Many people get promoted not based on ability to lead but on political related reasons. Have to get current manager approval prior to interviewing with an internal team if you'd like to get a new role within the company, which strongly discourages people from growing within the firm

Pros

wonderful co-workers, better than average benefits, true to mission, ability to grow and move up or laterally in the organization

Cons

a bit patriarchal still - not easy for women in middle to higher management; has merged so many times recently the culture is still shaping into a unified entity; spate of recent layoffs directed from Texas headquarters has left a feel of anxiety in the employees.
