Volusion -- siloed and opaque

Pros

Volusion knows how to hire friendly, hard-working, and passionate people. I was able to work with some of the brightest and most talented, and I enjoyed coming to work because of the people I was able to work with. That's it.

Cons

Volusion did not like to be transparent with any of its undertakings, something I think should be a top priority especially when you're battling a fleeting corporate culture due to Volusion's separate office locations. The pay rate wasn't competitive, the office politics were apparent, and the leadership never seemed to be able to keep morale up. Overall, it felt like everyone was burnt out, and that's saying a lot considering how Volusion knows how to hire A-team players.

Pros

The only pro I can think of about this place is that you get a pay check.

Cons

Everything the whole place is toxic and will bring a great developer down to mediocre standing. Even if there are smart people working there, nothing really gets done. Stay clear of this company if your a good engineer.

Pros

1.Your asking for Pros? 2.Your kidding right?

Cons

It would take me years to list everything, then they have all these employees not in tech support post all these great reviews. Why not encourage people in support to write positive reviews? I will tell you why------positive reviews on the whole in the support dept are nothing more than illusion. Now of course the suck ups could do it but you would have far more negative reviews than positive ones. I mean I would like to ask HR how many people have come through the revolving door at the front of the building when hired for tech support. To sum it up - worst management in the corporate world, hands down, the pay is lower then cleaning horse stalls(not kidding),oppressive hours--forget about having holidays off to enjoy family, customer base with the intelligence level of a block of wood. Oh yeah also the sales dept lies to customers everyday and then the support dept gets to take all the fall out. If you like transparency in the company you work for---steer clear of this place. If Volusion is not failing, Volusion is not trying.

Volusion Response

Volusion encourages all forms of feedback, even negative. Without honest reviews we would not be able to address important issues like those listed above. Employee feedback is extremely valuable in helping us be a Top Workplace. Our support team’s role is crucial in providing generous assistance for customers that might lack technical aptitude – this is evident by many appreciative customer reviews.
