Pros

snacks, small gym, showers, good, friendly people as coworkers. I will admit that they do try to make work and life better.

Cons

It really is nothing major just yet

Pros

Management solicits feedback and actually takes it into consideration. It is possible to make an impact right away in your role here. The company is trying to be as open and transparent as possible with its employees, e.g., monthly town hall meetings and weekly (optional) anonymous feedback emails that they actually read and take into consideration when enacting changes. Career opportunities-many people have moved up and laterally within the company. You don't have to worry about being stuck with no mobility or career growth. Great perks--snacks, drinks, onsite yoga (in the onsite gym), bring your dog to work Fridays, and various events like self defense classes, woodworking shop classes, etc.

Cons

You can tell the company still has some ripple effects from the changes last year. Admittedly, I joined after the big changes took place, but I can see how it has a lasting effect. I would say this is common with any company that goes through a big change, and the main thing is how the company chooses to address it.

Great Company But Software Needs Updating...NOW!

Pros

Great environment for someone looking for an entry level job. Lots of perks! Unlimited paid time off, beer Friday's, massages at least once a month, modern company, growth opportunities...this company has so much potential and I see it getting there. I spoke with the CEO a few times, he was a cool guy. A little shy, but approachable. I approve (:

Cons

You are no longer a start-up, you're an established company. What is putting Volusion in this so called "start-up" phase is the software...the sales team asked for a new trial about 10+ months ago and it supposedly rolled out this week. There needs to be someone in Product consistently working with people in Sales. All the companies I've worked at have had this implemented. Wished there were more opportunities for employees to get to know each other- I barely knew people in other departments.
