Pros

Volusion is a fantastic place to work. Everyone I interacted with was very accommodating, professional and worked well in their respective teams. Here are some of the things that are most memorable about working there: -Bring Your Dog to Work Fridays -Casual attire, every day of the year (you could even come to work in your PJs) -Employee birthdays are automatically considered/given as a Floating Holiday -Competitive pay and an excellent benefits package -Proactively encourages social events and team-building throughout the company These are just some of things I really enjoyed while working for Volusion. It really is quite different from any other employer I've worked for, even in the Austin business climate/office culture.

Cons

The *only* negative I can even write about Volusion is that they don't have a presence in other cities in Texas. Even then, this is more of a personal/unique tidbit because my own residence situation brought a relocation to Houston.

Pros

Great PTO, the office environment is laid back, bring your dog to work Fridays and they cater often for special events.

Cons

Not enough relief for when you take PTO. Some managers leadership styles can be harsh. The pay is less competitive for a company as a whole.

Pros

Good, laid-back environment. Lots of free snack food. Four weeks of vacation time a year! I work as a 'support concierge' so I can only really comment on this position. You really learn a ton working here and they are really good at promoting people from within. I've probably seen about 20 people get promoted from our department just in the short time that I have been here though it does take at least 8 months to over a year usually. They are concerned with metrics like any support department but are much more relaxed about it than most. It is pretty silly sometimes, but they really do go out of their way to at least try and make the job as enjoyable as possible. From just working here 6 months you will learn a ton about HTML/CSS, DNS, databases, APIs, basic advanced computer skills, and all facets of E-commerce in general.

Cons

As everyone else said... the pay is not up to the industry standards in general. Location is not the greatest either as it is right in the middle of an industrial district in a pretty boring area of town. The software is a little outdated and rarely gets updated which leaves you to suffer the complaints. Tech support in general is just kind of lame but I can hardly blame them for that...
