      Pros

      Good benefits, competitive pay (won't get rich), lots of vacation time, good work/life balance. Lots of on-site perks. 401K matching starts at 5% and increases based on your age.

      Cons

      Lots of internal politics and HR driven agendas (not hiring best candidates, instead checking a box for social purposes). Hard to get promoted to senior role unless from Sweden. Lots of favorites within the organization, it's not what you know, it's who you know.

      Pros

      Good teammates. A lot of things to learn. Relaxed atmosphere. Allowed to run with ball most of the time with little interference. One of the more diverse large companies I’ve worked for.

      Cons

      Lots of silos. Lots of yes men. Yearly increase is WELL below average, pathetic actually. Salary could be better. No recognition/compensation for performance outside you job function. Good employees leave for better pay/opportunities/full time benefits.

      Great Company in Europe but a few leaders are spoiling the Volvo Culture in America's

      Great Company , good culture in Europe but not in North America.

      Cons

      Top Management in North America is filled with Politicians. They are all close knit circled in Project office, Engineering, Manufacturing, Complete Vehicle . Managers are egoistic in nature. If you get opportunity to work here, be careful about the managers. Some commodities like PPL - Product planning, Project office or Project Management office, Engineering - Vehicle , Cab, Chassis, Complete Vehicle, Manufacturing Project office. No diversity in Top management. All are whites and they hate other skin people taking jobs in top mgmt. They start cropping negative feedback about best performers. Managers from France are ridiculous and they feel they are great but they get successful only because they know top mgmt.
