Pros

Great company to work for with excellent pay. Possibilities of employee growth and promotions are readily available. I would highly recommend applying with this company.

Cons

Layoffs are common with this company, but if you can weather the storms, you will definitely be successful within this company

Pros

There are ample opportunities within the Volvo Group. Governance is a bit different than you may normally be used to - it is a Swedish company and most of the top roles are held by Swedes that have moved here to US. Not much micro-managing at the manager/director level though. You are expected to produce and given the room in which to do so.

Cons

While it is the North American HQ for Volvo, decisions and assumptions are very Euro-centric. Want to grow sales and market share here in US, but anything done here must be similar to what would be done elsewhere in the world. There are people working here for 20+ years, so some seem to be "taking space."
