Business Outlook

Pros

- Good benefits - Excellent corporate office facility and most division office facilities - Freedom at the division level - Many division positions have company provided vehicles - Sales jobs are cream puff jobs for mediocre performers - Great place to work if you just want to "get by"

Cons

- There is virtually no senior leadership or vision for the company - Working at the Corporate Office requires the patience of Job due to having to convince 9 divisions to do whatever needs to be done - Division offices are highly political - Poorly timed acquisition that was funded by a huge amount of debt significantly weakened the viability of this company - Jobs cuts are becoming the "new normal" but rarely target division or corporate managers, directors or executives - Limited prospects for growth - no bonuses paid in 4 years with no end in sight - Executives have an "elite" mentality, reward themselves with high compensation/options while remaining largely uninvolved in the business
