      Pros

      -Stability. -Safety driven -Uniforms The majority of the hourly employees are great people, but are ran to exhaustion by incompetent leadership. A lot of the guys with tons of experience and knowledge have quit because of current management.

      Cons

      -pay is horrendously low -Ran by the Good Ole Boys club. If you aren't related or don't golf with executive management, your voice or ideas don't matter. -Turnover is very high. -Managers view hourly employees as lower intelligence with no sense of credibility. -No retirement plan. Has an employee stock, but the stock has continued to fall for the past 5 or so years. Some have lost $100k in stock value. -Management is old school and unwilling to modify practices for the better, and in most cases, are incompetent.

      Pros

      Good pay, good benefits and family oriented place to work. Reliable.

      Cons

      Management no longer cares for employees and their lives. Benefits have gone away but top management gets theirs for sure!! Wake up, it is not a huge company and should not be run like it is. That isn't a bad thing.

      Sometimes businesses have down years too. However, Vulcan had its largest sales month ever in March 2018! We are back and going strong!

      Pros

      The company offers competitive pay and good benefits. The company has great co-workers and a wonderful location.

      Cons

      The only issues that i can come up with is that the company has nflexible work hours compared to other companies. Also there is no offering to work from home.
