Pros

Lots of learning opportunities and training classes available. Employee growth is important to the company as well as keeping the corporate culture in place.

Cons

Things internally feel "secretive." You are not sure whats going on behind the scenes. The company does not pay as high as other companies.

Pros

Flexible hours, friendly people, respectable company. Overall, very satisfied with my experience. Small company breeds familiarity, so don't talk down anyone! Everyone will know.

Cons

Cookie cutter hiring and people can be unmotivated.

Pros

Fairness and Freedom, some of the core beliefs at Gore. You don't have managers, you have leaders and sponsors. No job titles, we are all associates. You don't have a job you have a commitment. This is not simply replacing words with other words it truly is a different way of operating. Are you a leader or follower. You are in control of your future at Gore, if you have gained the trust and respect of other expect them to start asking you to take on new commitments, helping out on projects. It is the only place I have ever worked at where the engineers have actually scheduled a meeting with me to get my full input on a project. An exceptional place to work at.

Cons

You may at first feel like you are being under paid when you first start a Gore. This is natural and true. You must show what you are worth and this will become very apparent when you go though the compensation process which occurs once a year. Your fellow associates will rank you as to how much you contribute to the team as a whole. If you rate low expect to receive feedback on how to improve if you rate high still expect feedback and how you can improve. Continuous improvement.
