Pros

The pay is pretty good, everyone is nice and eager to assist each other to get the job done and meet deadlines/customer commitments. The company is very big on safety and quality. Overall, they treat their employees pretty good.

Cons

Can be high pressure and stressful due to crunched deadlines, especially when something disrupts production (i.e., power failure, mechanical hiccups, supplier shortages, staff shortages, etc) as the plant is other 24/7, 365 days a year.

Lots of politics. Some managers play politics instead of taking advice and listening to their team. Some " my way or the highway " managers.
