Pros

The people and pay are great, but everything else went downhill fast!

Cons

Standard Industries sloppy acquisition led to chaotic integration and they slowly started pouring their Kool-Aide down the throats of the managers, who in turn make their workers drink it or else!. The return to office mandate is to be the most moronic decision yet, completely ignoring the fact that the work was being done perfectly fine remotely 3 days a week. Morale has tanked as they ripped away flexibility and even cut the 401K. A textbook example of how to drive good talent out so the top 1% can benefit.

Pros

Vast majority of employees are kind and look out for each other. DE&I is still very much in place and very active.

Cons

Chose to save money by cutting all the perks of working here (work from home, 401k, etc.) and while they won't admit it, it's pretty obvious this was an effort to reduce headcount and lower staffing costs. Current employees are now shouldering more and more responsibility, with no incentive to do so. It's always "think of the bottom line!!!" Even when asked about company morale and increased workload, the HEAD of HR more or less just shrugged and said "sometimes ya just gotta work harder." Extremely silo-style hiring. If you ever want to try something new at the company, good luck. Your only real option is to wait for your supervisor to move out so you can move up.

Pros

Coworkers are good people with genuine hearts.

Cons

Retirement match cut by 30% in June 2025. Zero flexibility with work schedules. In office work required even for those that were hired specifically to work remotely. Not filling open positions, forcing more work on high performers with no benefit. Management does not care about work life balance or supporting employees where they are in their lives. I.e.) Adoption, medical issues, small children, etc. Long standing employees are leaving or looking to leave. There is no reward for extra effort. Grace only wants sacrifice from their employees. They are eliminating all reasons that made Grace a great place to work. They are content with being mediocre. Management directed talent moves results in jobs not being posted and individuals losing the ability to make career decisions for themselves.
