As an intern I got to work on relevant projects that made an impact. The ability to talk to operators and engineers in a production environment put the position a step above other internships. Would recommend to anyone who wants a practical, hands-on internship.

Cons

General distrust of corporate (specifically logistics/planning) by operations. While easy to dismiss the complaining, left a sour taste and grew tiring after a while.
