Pros
Having started in customer support WEX has given me multiple opportunities within the company which I have taken advantage of. WEX has great benefits including 5 weeks of paid time off per year, good health insurance and pet insurance. To show their appreciation to all of the companies many employees WEX often provides lunches, socials where employees can get together and have hot chocolate, ice cream and treats. Monthly drawings are held for gift cards and other awards for good performance.
Cons
While collecting on past due accounts conversions can get ugly. The communication between departments is very lacking and when changes are made to policy it is not always communicated clearly to everyone that is affected by the changes. Many of the people working on the customer support team received inadequate training and are unsatisfied with their job overall.
