Pros
WEX is a rapidly growing company with unlimited opportunities for growth. If you want a place where you can make a difference, this is the company to work. Leadership, like any other company, has some struggles - but the team here really cares and wants to be the best in the market. They also want there people to excel. I've encountered nothing but positive energy and commitment to our mission and vision. Are there people that complain, are cut-throat, and non-team players - heck yes. But they are not the norm and don't last long unless they change. This company is changing and growing rapidly. Thus it's not a place for the feint of heart or those who aren't committed to the mission, vision, and values.
Cons
The crowd of "That's the way we've always done it" or "We've tried that before," exists. They are stumbling blocks to success for those lacking grit and persistence. The leadership does a great job of rallying teammates, but the middle managers still struggle because they've been complacent for far too long.
