      Pros

      A lot of people really trying to succeed and make the best of what they do.

      Cons

      A lot of short-sighted decisions that usually only benefits the individual making the decision or shareholders. Insurance went from amazing to worst (from small copays to $1000s in deductibles). Many people completely full of themselves and intimidating others to get their way. I worked in many departments and they were almost all hostile work environments. At the same time a lot of very touchy people who call HR at the drop of a hat. It didn't seem like there could be a proper balance.

      Pros

      I liked my team, which is what drove me to stay as long as I did. WEX manages to keep strong leaders, which is why it was disappointing to see how they were treated.

      Cons

      The company has slowly become aggressively AI-centric, eliminating positions and pushing heavily towards AI. This decreased client success and increased team stressors. I saw an extreme decrease in quality over the last two years due to a "quantity over quality" mentality, which hurts the employees and clients.

      No more QA

      A great group of people to work with on an amazing platform!

      Cons

      The tech leadership is making drastic decisions and got rid of all QA while still hiring high leadership positions and also shipping off important tech jobs to India and Brazil.
