Thank you for sharing your positive comments relative to our office culture and fun work environment. We strive to create a work environment and culture that is both positive and engaging. We are very proud of the talented and dedicated professionals at WGI. Our success as a firm is a result of our associates’ hard work, dedication, commitment to quality, and client satisfaction. While in most cases the average professional at WGI works 45 hours or less, like any profession there are times when longer hours are required to meet client needs.

We’re concerned that your needs are not being addressed and we would respectfully request you share your thoughts with Human Resources. I assure you that we will be responsive and transparent in our response. If you ever feel intimated at WGI, we urge you to proactively report it. If you are at all concerned with confidentiality, please use the ethics hotline on WGI’s website and an external board of director will speak with you. Remote work is unique to every person, timing, role and need. So, you are correct, there is not a consistent approach to remote work. Rather, we remain open to every request and flexible in our approach. WGI knows we are better together, and safety in our designs is always at the forefront. We do ask that our team appreciate that public infrastructure is a unique practice, and the delivery of a safe project often requires regular communication, teamwork, training and mentoring - all of which typically are better in person.
