Pros

In the power plants, with hard work you can usually move up through the ranks, but that can be a long process. Since they are for sale, not too much opportunity outside of a facility. Some great people over the years but with the major RIF, they are now few and far between. Had a great culture when owned by Waste Management

Cons

Wheelabrator was sold to a private equity company (12/2014) who was up front in saying they were flipping the company within 5 to 7 years. Mass layoffs at the corporate office and field management and field technical support. CEO was a trash guy who knew/knows nothing about power plants.
