      Pros

      Great company to work for. competitive pay yearly raises got to learn 3 types of line of business. Good benefits paid sick leave and vacation.

      Cons

      Unfortunately my yard has lost the contract with the city of Santa Clarita and I’m looking to move my talents and experience to republic services, being that I can’t transfer back to waste management in sun valley cause the contract is not over yet but I’m not willing to stick it out being that I’m low in seniority here and rather make the jump now and pick where I would like to work.

      Worst Area Leadership EVER

      Pros

      Drivers are great! They truly want to service the customers and many sacrifice their personal lives to make sure it happens. Most times this happens without being thanked by district leadership because this is 'the expectation'.

      Cons

      Area and regional leadership couldn't care less about the frontline workers, it's all about the numbers, poor equipment, low morral within the drivers and slingers, serious honesty problems within leadership and will throw you under the bus in a splint second. Regional leadership has zero accountability and has a 'what have you done for me lately' mentality. Basically, you are treated like crap.
