Pros
It was a great place to be given responsibility and authority to do a great job. We did exciting things that saved millions of dollars and provided great job satisfaction. My company overall rating for 10-15 years ago would have been 5 stars.
Cons
The company changed over the years. It went from the company I described in the "Pros" to one where employees were no longer the valued asset they once were. The company took out one leg (employees) of the three-legged stool (customers, stockholders, employees) and left the remaining staff to try to get the job done short-handed and without much of the collective company/industry knowledge it had collected over the years. The company struggles from year to year defining what it is and chooses eliminating heads as the answer to failed decision making at the leadership level.
