Pros

Living in LA and working as an assistant at WME is kind of like being a caddy at a gold course but getting to say your dad owns the place. You don't have any real power but you definitely feel like you do. More seriously it's a terrific place to learn about Hollywood deal making as the top agents routinely make some of the biggest of the year. Maybe not the best place to spend a career, but definitely a great place to learn the business and pick up some stories.

Cons

The pay is low and there is often little respect for assistants; but hey, that's Hollywood.
