Pros

On the surface, VML Seattle should be a great place to work—huge clients, a beautiful office, talented coworkers and an attractive salary. Instead it's all potential, no payoff.

Cons

Unless you're one of the handful of creatives chosen to work on "creative" projects, you will be relegated to the sidelines, working on "keep the lights on" accounts exclusively. No amount of hard work, past experience, excelling on shoestring/nonexistent budgets or promotions will not get you the chance to work on the more meaningful and challenging, "creative" projects. Plus, one annual review in four years and direct reports that don't work on any of your accounts—VML Seattle promises creative fulfillment, instead delivers busywork and just enough hope to keep you around. It's all style and no substance and If you’re looking for a real creative opportunity, this isn’t the relationship that’s going to give it to you.

Pros

No better or worse than anywhere else. Pay is decent, people are smart.

Cons

Getting a raise is always challenging.
