Middle management truly supports staff, flexible remote environment is great and the staff that actually DO the work are amazing to work with

Cons

Absolute disregard for the impact the executive decisions have on the individual. From reckless business management, mis-prioritization of funds to soothe executives' wallets, to the consistent messaging of "do more with less and you'll be rewarded" but the rewards are stripped away or "not earned" or "be grateful for what you get, we didn't have to give you anything" is an absolute disgrace for a company that claims to care about People First.

Many coworkers are thoughtful and caring

Cons

Senior leaders show disdain for employees. They shut off communication channels and don't care about employee concerns or ideas. Their focus on profitability is ironic considering the poor financial results year after year. Benefits, professional development and training, and engagement and team building opportunities have been decimated. Do not apply here-- keep looking for an organization that respects people. This is not it.

Looks like they finally fired some of the right people for once. Even random feckless cuts eventually strike true, I guess. I thought the new CEO was going to be brilliant. Unfortunately the CGO is confidently ignorant and holds inexplicable sway over her. Good CFO. Duplicitous and underhanded, though capable CAO. CIO has no real practical knowledge. CGO is an idiot. Wendy, your inability to discern quality in your people is going to kill any strategy you have. You've created a culture of fear, and it just won't work to drive the transformation you need to affect.

Cons

They fired or lost all the brilliant, curious, inventive or audacious people a couple years ago. They kept all the malicious, incompetent idiots who insist on forms being filled out in triplicate to use the bathroom.
