Pros

Work from home, data entry, health benefits and PTO are effective on start date! They provide the equipment to work from home. Data entry to help out the claims team. OCR's create their own schedule, as long as you work 40 hours a week- they dont care.

Cons

It's a new program to the area, so trainers don't know (or aren't communicating details) when people can transition to work from home.

Pros

WPS was usually a pretty stable place to work. They have been in business for over 60 years. They used to do nice things for their employees such as an occasional shopping trip and outings to different places either in-state or out-of-state. Little events that kept the morale positive even though they could be very strict in their expectations.

Cons

Since the new CEO took over several years ago, things haven't been the same. In our particular building, the environment seems so quiet and sterile. Mainly, it's more work with less communicating or socializing in between. So many physical changes have been done to our particular building so that you don't have the same friendly environment you used to. I've been hearing some rumors regarding our current union contract, and I hope that they're not true. Otherwise, many long timers may not be allowed to work here much longer.

Pros

For entry level, it's a good place to get some call center experience. The Madison location is conveniently located. If you're in Omaha, NE, there is a lot of opportunity.

Cons

The pay isn't very good. There aren't many opportunities in the Madison area. The GHA division has gone through restructuring several times in the past few years. Several exempt positions were recently reclassified (often incorrectly) to non-exempt, and many people lost pay and benefits - some were not told this would happen until the Friday before the change happened on a Monday.
