Take this job ONLY if it's your last resort.
Pros
Gaining possible security clearance depending on what department you work for. Lots of overtime.
Cons
Low pay (13.78) for most. No flexibility. Health insurance takes out close to half of your check. Although the offer OT, if you cannot do it, you will be written up. The write up stays on your file for a year and will negate you from getting the Performance raise (the raise is only a few cents). And please don't get sick. They do not accept doctors' notes. I got bronchitis that turned into pneumonia. Was out for two weeks. They wouldn't let me login from home. Couldn't apply for FMLA because I hadn't been there a year yet so I was written up. I was penalized for being sick. They are always changing rules but none of the rules benefit the employees. They have made it very plain that they do not care about us. I have accepted another position with another company and CANNOT wait to leave. This has been the worst company I have ever worked for. My co-workers were the best part of my time here. We all care about each other and try to look for each other since we are all in the same WPS boat. Oh...and complaining to HR gets your written up and/or fired. I have seen both of those things happen to people that worked for this company. It beats unemployment but if you can avoid this company....RUN!
