      Overall a good company to work for

      Pros

      The company presents itself as conscious of employee and customer happiness for the sake of happiness rather than increased profit, which I was skeptical of. Having been here for a while I have gotten the impression from my own management and above that they do actually take employee and customer engagement and happiness seriously beyond the motivation of simply making more money. Because of that it’s a fairly nice place to work as management is flexible with work hours/structure and is very supporting of professional development opportunities. A major perk of WPS is the ability to work from home, which is pretty common in the company (something like 1/3 of people before COVID). Personally that is a bigger perk than other health-insurance/time-off/401k-matching benefits although those are also fairly good (19 days off w/ 10 more holidays and 6% 401K match is pretty good).

      Cons

      Unclear if there is a much opportunity for bonuses beyond yearly review. Top management sometimes gives impression that profits are more important than customer satisfaction, but I also get the opposite impression sometimes.

      Pros

      Leaders convey positive messages, especially when need it the most (covid). Also flexibility with hours during the pandemic to maintain workload and take care of their family responsibilities.
