      Quantity matters not quality

      Pros

      Good health benefits and 401K with match, some positions allow working from home

      Cons

      Stingy with raises and promotions, long hours, difficult to complete assigned projects in the short budgeted time allotted, trainings do not get updated to cover relevant issues, difficult to get questions answered because supervisors are too busy trying to keep up themselves, push to complete audits and cut corners any way possible to meet deadlines.

      Pros

      If you already have extensive knowledge of the Medicare cost report it might be a good place for you. There are some opportunities for advancement.

      Cons

      If you do not already have great knowledge of the Medicare cost report it will be a tough experience. The deadlines are very tight leaving little time to learn Medicare. The work life balance is good for supervisors but bad for auditors. Time off is currently hard to get with some auditors having to cancel their vacation plans. Again without prior Medicare cost report experience you will be working very long hours.

      Benefits are ok however on the decline. Able to learn a lot about government insurance

      Cons

      Upper management pushed for high production with little care aobut providing great customer service. Unable to grow and advance as the promotions are based on seniority and not merit.
