Pros

pay s average and pays the bills

Cons

their health insurance is very expensive, you pay almost $200/month for family with $500 deductible, $30 copay for every visit and $25 copay for drugs, make you think 10 times before you have to go see a doctor .... They have a clinic on site that is staffed with a nurse and a doctor only 2 days a week. Since WPS administers their own health plan, your health information as an employee is in the hands of most of the other employees in the commercial division of the company, any one with access to Facets data (many employees do) has access to your private health information. They will work you to the bone and push you very hard, they claim to give you balance but they load you with so much work and responsibility that makes it very difficult to be successful. They have a mantra that everyone is replaceable and you are therefore a temporary existence until someone else is willing to step in your place. They are doing layoffs while at the same time struggling to complete the loads of work and projects the company has, they will squeeze you and try to do much more with much less, it is rare to work on 8 hour days ...

Pros

There is only one pro: cheap health insurance.

Cons

Middle management borders on criminally incompetent. Advancement comes to those who are technically proficient rather than managerial competence. The result is a large group of people who are good at specific tasks but not delegating or handling unforseen problems.

Pros

Decent pay with great benefits. Great coworkers. Loyal and hard working employees. Long-standing, well-established company in local area.

Cons

Inflexible work schedules. No part time option other than two days a week. Difficult to move up the ladder with so many long-term employees already in key positions. Unstable environment during the last few years due to loss of government contracts.
