Company is hopeful of establishing a PMO which, if implemented correctly, may prove to be a shockingly, culture-changing advancement.

Cons

Company's culture allows for no responsibility and no accountability which results in poor quality and over budget initiatives and under performance of individuals. The company is also heavily dependent on government contracts. The company appears to also be outsourcing and funding quite a lot of work to vendors and consultants with no strategy or guarantees in sight.

Job Security. If you can put up with the constant micromanaging and incorrect requirements from management you could retire at this company.

Cons

If you love your job and take pride in doing good work then this is NOT the place for you. If you enjoy having to redo the same task over and over again due to manager incompetence and a manager not being aware of the real requirements for the task, then this is the place to be.
