      No so Ethical for an ethical award winner

      Pros

      There is plenty of opportunities for improvement. There are plenty of things you could help fix. Won several awards for ethical behavior as a company. Upper management does seem to care.

      Cons

      Currently under financial challenges. No recognition for the challenges of being short staffed. Expect staff to work inordinately long hours as salary just to keep pace given the level of under staffing. Ethics of HR processes are in serious question.

      Pros

      When you have a challenging day at other jobs you will think “At least I’m not at WPS”

      Cons

      People crying at their desk and attempted suicides. It is a known fact they’ll do whatever they can to shirk paying unemployment. Pretty much an evil company that doesn’t value their employees whatsoever. Retains staff by making them feel worthless. “World’s Most Ethical Companies” is a sham.

      Pros

      If you are an intern or related to a management team or board member, it's a sweet gig.

      Cons

      WPS management is actively trying to get rid of anyone who has been there longer than 10 years. And they are not above constructive dismissal. The good news is that everyone I know who's left is happier in their new jobs or retirement. Change definitely needed to come to WPS - I worked there more than 15 years. Unfortunately, it was not the right kind of change.
