      Some flexible time available but be prepared for night and weekend work

      Cons

      Any technology or methodology will get the WPS treatment. Rather than learning from how better organizations use a technology, the WPS IT department will corrupt it and make it unmanageable. Unrealistic timelines and and demands to implement untested code or processes leads to bad deployments and post implementation scrambles to correct it. Business requirements are not well understood by product owners and it will be up to the developers to figure out functionality. Servers are other infrastructure often crashes without proper safe guards or backup systems. Expect support calls at any time.

      There's an ability to work from home

      Cons

      Training en masse (50-100 people)by seemingly uninterested tenured trainers who emphasize the absolute least important things and offer almost no hands on learning after nap inducing lectures. Partnered with the "team leads" who are supposed to help you the first couple weeks out of training who's favorite line is "look it up". I'm not an unintelligent person and I've done claims before but anything humana has their hands in will always be impossibly complicated and unnecessarily confusing with structures which just keep feeding their awful attrition rates.
