Pros

I really enjoyed my department, however I hear it was one of the better departments to work in. The benefits were great and most of the managers were good as well. The location was wonderful. The area has a specific charm to it.

Cons

-The new CEO is no good. He doesn't care about the company or its employees. It seems as if he is just trying to take him piece of the pie and then run the company into the ground. He should not be a CEO of any company. -Most of WPS business comes from government contracts, and if for whatever reason the government decides not to renew one of the contracts, a lot of employees could lose their jobs, so regardless of what the company wants to do, they may be forced to let employees go.

Pros

Health benefits include vision and dental. Onsite clinic available at a reduced cost. WPS intends to be around for a long time.

Cons

Government contract work results in employee anxiety each time a contract is rebid. Competitive concerns generally mean always doing more with less each time contract is awarded so even if WPS gets the contract it may impact staffing.

Pros

Management is relatively open to giving nearly anyone an opportunity to interview within the company. Questions and settings are mostly relaxed.

Cons

Consistency of interviews is low. There is not any good way to see where your status is or to get a clear idea of your potential for success. The process can take months just to get an answer on whether or not you are still a candidate. In some cases there is no knowledge if you will be offered a position until the people who go thte job are announced.
