Pros

Working with the customers and being the face of the credit union.

Cons

Becomes political and who you know to move up in the company, not your experience and skills.

Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to leave us a review. We value candid feedback, as it can help us identify opportunities for improvement. To that end, we’re wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing the specific branch that you work in and/or the department(s) that you’ve applied to in the past. We love seeing internals grow and move up in the organization; what you’ve described is definitely not what we strive for. If you’re comfortable sharing more with us, please reach out to 1-800-562-0999 x11111.

We appreciate your feedback! We’re glad that you’re pleased with the culture and benefits. We hear you on the scheduling challenges, though. That said, we often need Member Consultants to be flexible in order to ensure adequate coverage at the branches. The nature of the Member Consultant role is such that we can’t always provide two days off in a row. Most of our back office jobs do have more traditional Monday through Friday schedules. We’d encourage you to explore those opportunities if you need to find something that is a better fit for your family needs.

We appreciate your feedback! The people here are amazing and we work hard to provide those amazing folks with a great work environment, including exceptional benefits (8.5% retirement plan contribution, anybody?), growth opportunities and competitive pay. We’re bummed to hear that you’re not a fan of the dress code! Our dress code is intended to make our members feel comfortable and engender trust. That said, it is a business casual dress code with the option to wear jeans on Fridays, so definitely not the suit and tie kind of dress code that some folks might be used to. We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on what about the dress code is bothersome. Feel free to reach out to us directly to discuss this: 1-800-562-0999 x 11111.
