WSP provides a huge range of projects for all trades within the industry. It's a great place to touch on many different things and with any large multidisciplinary, communication is easy with other groups.
Cons
Employees are given the impression their work is not appreciated. Words of praise are given expressionless and it seems the action is a chore. Delivery of project is usually expedited and quality is not always there. There's little opportunity for advancement and lots of pigeon hole situations. Company expanded too fast and is unable to keep up with itself. The firms bought out are still functioning individually rather than the company as a whole. The expansion created a very "corporate" atmosphere and investment on employees have been severely cut. Every action limits the potential growth of new employees and younger staff. Sub-par benefits. Typical benefits and fairly average pricing. There's a vesting period for 401K and it is only great when making under a certain dollar amount. After some years of experience you'll reach the salary and if earning more than that, company match is capped even lower.
