      Awesome company to work for when it was run by PB staff

      When WSP bought PB, there was an immediate impact of WSP culture. Very sad.

      Pros

      Legacy firm is nice to work for. Decent folks. Very family minded. Nice work-family balance.

      Cons

      Grew too much, too fast. Like Cancer. We want from some corporate oversight to full on corporate policy b-s. Growth has not been organic, and some of the promises made using merging are superseded by promises they have to make to other firms that are acquired. Locally, people's career path is not respected because it is in conflict with new firm direction, i.e. your job is made redundant because it's not the company's focus anymore. Local offices in smaller markets are used to outsource expensive work, leading to people being compartmentalized and lower wages for employees.

      Pros

      flexible work schedule and great project work and great group of people to work with. A good amount of women in leadership.

      Cons

      no bonuses, low 401k matching provided, though there are a good amount of women in leadership, the racial and ethnic diversity is strongly lagging behind.
