Sometimes, too many priorities to focus on

Nepotism: There appears to be a pattern of favoritism in hiring and promotions—pay attention to recurring last names and how frequently individuals from certain families are advanced or brought on board. Safety: The company routinely falls short of established safety protocols. “Pencil-whipping” safety checks, a test-until-you-pass approach, and poorly maintained equipment are ongoing issues. Additionally, there’s a lack of understanding of proper SCBA mask use—facial hair compromises the seal, as confirmed by the manufacturer, yet this is overlooked. Favoritism in the Workplace: Select employees are allowed to socialize—playing cornhole or grilling—during work hours while others carry the workload. These same workers are often promoted, while those doing the actual work are unfairly blamed for failures.
