Pros

Decent Opportunities in an interesting field of work. Not many jobs of this type in the bay area. You are kept very busy.

Cons

Unsatifactory project management at the senior consultant level. Continually trying to meet unrealistic budgets and timelines for larger client while other clients are ignored. Lack of respect for Analyst time. No real work life balance.

Pros

Easy going atmosphere with lots of flexibility.

Cons

Management can't look ahead nor plan more than 3-4 months. Priorities change constantly, sometimes in the middle or even at the end of a project. Total waste of developer hours and brings on a very confused atmosphere. Overall, they took away the 401k match and there have been no raises in 2 years. Employees are being asked to take unpaid leave to avoid layoffs but there have been numerous layoffs anyway. Mr. Plumeri received a half a million retention fee for staying in his job in this market, I think that speaks volumes.

Pros

- A great jumping off point for a career and learning a general feel of the office atmosphere, albeit remote. Good for resumé building

Cons

- Underpaid and overworked; the incentive to stay is because you're simply too busy to leave. You need to rack up billable client hours all year at an unrealistic pace, forcing you to stack PTO, which you will need to purge at EOY if you have a surplus of hours that can't be rolled over - Having to work at a breakneck pace invokes error, but, internal systems have a bizarre tendency to DELIBERATELY remove correct inputs for data that you enter, bogging down one's own integrity and seemingly compromising credibility no matter how many times you review your own work - In my experience, most everyone was too busy and out for themselves. If you need remedial assistance with tasks, senior team members let you die on the vine making you assume that you're doing everything correctly while your billable hours suffer; those with longer tenure answer your questions with more questions - Forcing employees to train outsourced labor on day-to-day tasks. This is either to move you up ever so slightly in the form of reviewing their work, or to force you out of your own job in the interest of cost-cutting
