Pros
Company culture is that of a young, work hard-play hard crowd. Everyone in the company goes through the same trainings, and works through the ranks. On of my favorite things is that every day is different with this job. One day you will be knocking on business doors to find prospects, the next you will be holding business meetings with CEO's and business owners (tell that to your newly graduated peers at your 5-year reunions and you are sure to impress!). With this career, you not only have room to improve yourself through excellent sales trainings and independent research, but you get to work within two niche areas of the industry and ultimately improve efficiency in businesses. This company gives you the opportunity to expand skill-set and knowledge of small-to-medium sized businesses by targeting what is a central factor of many businesses: logistics. People ask me all the time where I learned so much about business and the way businesses work...they are shocked when I tell them it is from an outside sales position.
Cons
This job is not for the easy or weak-minded. You endure long days, you must have the ability to overcome objections without becoming defeated, and you are constantly under a lot of pressure to do well against "competition" within the company (all of which you are well compensated for eventually)
