Pros

Worldwide Express provides individuals with an opportunity to build a career in the fast-paced competitive world of sales. Built upon a rock solid corporate structure, Worldwide has become one of the leaders in logistics. Unlike many sales positions out there, Worldwide Express presents new hires with a training and compensation plan that is very appealing. Before a new hire would venture out into the field and begin their sales career they are first sent to an extensive training program at the Worldwide Express corporate facility. The corporate level training and "all hands on deck" mentality that is taken on by even the upper level executives is very refreshing and a change from the norm for a company of Worldwide's size. Worldwide Express, which is one of the largest companies in the logistics field is quite accustomed to having the CEO and other top level executives reach out to new hires. Besides the interaction between all levels of personnel the compensation plan is also quite unique. The different positions offered by Worldwide Express are rewarded on performance just as is the norm for most sales positions. With that being said the compensation plan consists of not only commission, but also salary and bonus based incentives. For the right person the opportunities for advancement within the company seem to be limitless, as Worldwide Express only promotes from within.

Cons

A sales position for Worldwide Express is emotionally and physically draining. It requires much time, effort, and perseverance to be successful.

Pros

Worldwide Express is a great opportunity for someone looking for a long term career. There are tons of growth opportunities and the company sure knows how to take care of their employees. People are paid handsomely for their work and there is a good rewards recognition system in place. Senior management is very understanding and supportive of their employees and they treat us as real assets. As a young professional straight out of college or someone with a few years’ experience I don’t think there is a better company. Many of my friends choose to go with a “well know” company and most have found that they have to wait for someone to retire to move up. From what I have seen so far this is not that type of company and people seem to move up the corporate ladder quickly. Overall I love the culture, the people are great and I make more than my friends….Great place to work!

Cons

I have to work harder than most of my friends but I feel I am compensated for it. Feedback can sometimes be tough.

Pros

Worldwide Express gives people the chance to jump head first into B2B sales with one of the most esteemed training programs available. The skills gained in the first year at Worldwide Express can translate into success in any forthcoming venture. The company culture is fun, competitive and motivating. For someone who has a Type A personality and has a lot of energy, they will fit right in. Finally, there is an enormous growth potential for the company... Not only in their current market of Parcel and LTL, but also into other markets that WWEX is expanding into. This translates directly into advancement opportunities and increased compensation.

Cons

This job isn't for everyone. It takes a highly motivated, intelligent and well spoken person to succeed. It's the worst $40k a year job, but it's the best $100k a year job. You will only like this job if you have success doing it. Hundred's of reps have proven that the system works and success is very attainable. The question is, can you?
