Pros
WWEX offers pretty good training and support for their employees. There is room for advancement but only if you are in the top echelon of the company and that is not very likely.
Cons
Long Hours, Door to door sales canvassing your territory day in and day out. The territories are very picked over so it's very difficult to find leads. A rep might knock on a hundred office doors in a day and not find one solid lead. Very high turnover and repetitive sales approach. Sales associates are trained to memorize a specific elevator pitch to push their way through to the business owner and then convince them why they should switch from shipping with Fed EX over to UPS before you even know if they ship at all. They won't even let you discuss freight until after 90 days but by then most employees are let go. WWEX is a sweatshop for lead generations for the management. Any leads I found the management said were not good opportunities and then closed after I left. The only reason WWEX has such a high rating on GlassDoor is because the management makes their employees fill out a review while they are still working there and are looking over their shoulder.
