Business Outlook
Pros
Benefits, work schedule, decent pay, growing company, good group of individuals on the current purchasing team as of 7/22/24, senior executives(not directors) are very knowledgeable and do offer support when asked
Cons
Purchasing team has very limited promotable positions i.e no senior buyer or buyer II roles, purchasing team is very lean for the considerable work load/responsibilities, in my case almost 0 training or job shadowing when newly hired/position change, significant turnover in other departments that make project completion difficult, Inconsistent adherence to their own processes and policies, current middle management/leadership for several departments are self serving not truly “team” oriented
