Pros

If you need a second job to help pay the utility bills, this is the place because there isn't enough money to pay for anything else.

Cons

The place is as dead as a morgue. For hours all you can hear is the fans on the oven blowing. Business comes in only for a few hours during your shift. While your watching the clock, because there is nothing else to do, you're freezing your butt off. The restaurant is as cold as a meat locker. Customers complain.

Pros

Regular customers are nice; Busy shift makes the time go by, worked with college schedule

Cons

No chance to promote from within, even though the new hire brief says there is; many customers treat you like garbage because "you're a Waffle House waitress," especially when they're intoxicated; backstabbing politics by other waitresses that have been at the same position for years talking behind your back
