Pros

If you are new to the restaurant industry, it can be a decent place to start your career to learn about the ins and outs of managing a store or stores from an owner's perspective with a multitude of responsibilities.

Cons

There is a fine line between working hard and working to death. I found myself easily working 70 to 80 hours a week with little to no reward. If you end up with a "fantasy" store where your staff is amazing then your life can be great. The reality is that managing a 24 hour diner involves lots of headaches at ALL hours of the day, even on your off days... because your pay is nearly entirely based on the performance of the store, so rarely can you afford to ignore your phone.

Built relationships with customers and employees but other than that nothing. Taught me what NOT to do when I open my own business.

Cons

This is the worse company I have EVER worked for! If you're a woman or a minority in general you'll be treated differently. Upper management have NO integrity whatsoever! There is a lot of favoritism within the company. They don't treat the managers fairly and equally.
