Pros

Stock program, gas and car maintenance reimbursement, travel throughout market, weekends off.

Cons

Miles and wear and tear on vehicle, work ALL holidays, majority of pay is bonuses that often can depend on what other ppl do or don't do, promotion opportunity limited as there are only 2 HR positions per 21-30 store area, overall greedy company who changes employees pay at least 6 times a year. (So your pay goes up and down)

Pros

Billion dollar, debt free company. Great opportunities for operations mgt, freedom to set my own schedule for the most part, not stuck at a desk, pay is "decent" for the work but needs some tweaking

Cons

Not a great opportunity for growth in HR, Pay depends way too much on what other people do that you have limited impact on, as important as a people position is, the company and operators tend to ignore and/or undervalue our position, work all blackout holidays and events when we're not paid operators so it's kinda pointless (we are way too busy to do any effective recruiting and frankly most customers prefer to enjoy their meal vs get hounded about working for us during chaos) The 24/7 business is manageable but can be very tiresome for the managers work life balance and eventually it starts weighing on you that you're responsible for bringing people on to give up a huge part of their life to work because the senior leadership is too stuck in old ways to adhere to modern work life balances (people work to live, not live to work now-shift changes are needed, but are a part of an archaic system-get assistant mgrs) Which leads to my final confirmation, we are Very limited in who/how we recruit (archaic) and the way we're paid really does prevent us from encouraging hourly growth because if we don't have a 4yr degree mgt quota then WE lose money.

Pros

You are given a store and the opportunity to build a solid team. The amount of effort you put into your store has a direct effect on your sales/food cost, and in turn, your bonus. Good support system.

Cons

They are crazy about the uniforms! Bad employees can make your life hell. When your 3rd shift cook up and quits on you, chances are, you're working 3rd shift AND 1st shift (9pm-2pm)... You work EVERY holiday.
