Pros

Waffle House provides a fun working environment. Great pay. They also provide a supportive work environment.

Cons

Unit managers work a lot of hours. Tons of work related demands. High turnover rate for associates. Managers have to constantly hire and fire employees.

Pros

If you are fresh out of college then it is a good paycheck. It looks good on a resume.

Cons

Terrible work/life balance. Too much work for so little pay. You are NOT a manager. You are basically a cook that gets blamed for anything that goes wrong. 90% of the time you will be cooking and cleaning. You will be working with the absolute worst people( high school dropouts, drug addicts. and felons). You don't need a Bachelor's Degree for this job. Please look somewhere else for employment. You can make more at another company without the crazy hours.

Pros

Great people, Juke box to be played, Free food

Cons

The hours can be long, work ALL Holidays, you have to cover if the 3rd shift cook calls in sick. Once you get off work at around 4 you must go back to the store for drawer change EVERY SINGLE Friday, Saturday, and the day before you get off.
