Pros

I loved the atmosphere and working life at Waffle House. The training is second to none, and the people are... well they are salt of the earth but a little rough around the edges.

Cons

Every friggin holiday it is required for managers to work. Basically from 2 weeks before thanksgiving till the second week in January, you can kiss you family goodbye.

Pros

If you are a performer, the money is great. The regular customers that you see on a daily basis. Some of the people that work for you.

Cons

The hours are ridiculous sometimes, especially if you have a poor manager in one of your units. Decisions are made at last minute timing. Communication on direction that Area is taking or needs to take to improve.

Really good about giving time off and working with student schedules Not a very stressful job Good money during busy shifts

Cons

Ask you to do a lot more than in other restaurants for the same wage Really terrible money during the afternoon shift Difficult to decipher paychecks and see where your money is
