Pros

I love my job and customers. Money is good

Cons

Manager is rude to associates. He picks his favorite associate and gives them preferential treatment. He frantranises with said employees after hours. He changes time clocked out because he won't pay for servers to do tickets. He has cursed me in front of customers and degraded me in front of customers. I'm afraid to go to corporate because he will retaliate by cutting hours. He says first shift is tired so he doesn't make them do side work. He recently fired a second shift grill op because he spoke up about having to do first shifts side work. He cursed grill op in front of customers, then lied to upper management about grill op. Grill op only said don't speak to me like that, you can talk to me in private but you will not curse me. If we have to stay later than 9 pm he will change our time. We are the one of the highest ADA. But he says we need to do our tickets on our time not Waffle Houses. Also and associate shouldn't have their child strapped to their back working on the floor.

Pros

They will work with you on your schedule. You can progressively move up in this company.

Cons

Waffle House is always open. Third shift is 10 hours while the other shifts are 7 hour shifts. Night shift is hard on an individual if you cannot figure a routine out.

Pros

Meeting new people and new friends

Cons

This box isn't big enough. 1. Service training is a disgrace 2.There is no pride in a job well done and no acknowledgement of it from any managerial staff up to and including regional staff. 4.There is no loyalty of management to create teamwork. I used to be proud to be Waffle House but the standards are so low, as long as body on shift so mgr doesn't have to cover, if you are breathing-- you are hired.j5
