Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We sincerely thank you for your commitment to working holidays. As you know, being open 24/7, including every holiday, is part of what makes Waffle House unique. We couldn’t do that without dedicated Associates like you who help us serve Customers during times when many others are closed. Your willingness to be there on those important days doesn’t go unnoticed, and we appreciate the sacrifices that come with it. Thank you again for being a valued part of the team. We’re grateful to have you with us!

Over worked underpaid

Pros

There will be hours Healthcare Easy job to learn

Cons

Over worked, underpaid. Lack of transparency in MIT program. Should be in for 12 weeks during interviews; reality maybe 20 weeks. Only up line knows. Lack of incentives in the program/Delayed benefits where others will profit off of you until they deem you have waited long enough. MIT will be the only one working holidays without receiving tips, bonus’s nor profit & loss. Treated like a grill operator with the scrutiny of a manager.

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We’re glad you’ve found value in the healthcare benefits and the learnability of the role, and we recognize the dedication it takes to step into leadership at Waffle House. We also hear your concerns regarding workload, transparency in the MIT program, and the overall experience during training. We know that clear communication, fair compensation, and consistent expectations are critical to supporting our future leaders, and your input helps shine a light on where we can improve. We're actively reviewing how to improve the MIT experience, including better transparency and more timely access to incentives and benefits. We appreciate your commitment and welcome you to share more at any time through wafflehouse.com/contact. Your voice matters, and we are listening.
